Abdisalam Abdulle (Garjeh)
My name is Abdisalam and I'm currently livining in Ashburn, VA, 30 miles north of Washington, DC. I was born in a town, located in central Somalia, I grew up in Mogadishu, went to Jowhar American Menniote Mission high school. After completing the Secondary education, I went to former Soviet Union - Odessa, Ukraine for Military Officer Academy. I became a civil servant and worked for the defunct Somali Airlines. In the earily years of 1980's, I studied Business Administration at State University of New York, College at New Palz, NY. From Mid 1980's to 1991, I was a tax administator official at Ministry of Finance and Revenue until the start of the Somali civil war. Spent a decade living as refugee in the Netherlands and from 2002 up until now, I live in Virginia and I'm an information technology specialist (Senior SAN Engineer), currently working for US National Archives and Records Administration, located in College Park, MD.
